Frequently Asked Questions
Pharmacy compounding is the art and science of creating customised medications to meet a patient’s unique needs. Instead of using a pre-made, one-size-fits-all product, we carefully combine individual ingredients in the exact strength and form prescribed by your doctor. This allows for truly personalised care, whether that means adjusting a dose, removing an allergen, or creating a different dosage form that’s easier to take.
No, not all compounded medicines require a prescription. However, most of the time a prescription is needed. Your doctor will determine if a compounded medicine is clinically appropriate for you, based on the guidelines. The doctor will then select the right formulation for your needs, and our pharmacists will prepare it with care and precision.
